ENGINEERING SURVEYS
MT Surveys has carried out various engineering surveys and works, from volume calculations through to the monitoring of a site for construction and remediation companies.
When developing a site our clients need to be sure they can plan, build and excavate with confidence, and know that MT Surveys work with them to ensure the data collected and captured is not only accurate but is captured in the most cost effective manner possible.
Setting Out - We have extensive experience in setting out, working with contractors on a range of projects from shopping centre redevelopment though to new homes. There can be no room for error, there is often only a small window of opportunity for this to be carried out correctly.
Monitoring - We have worked on several key monitoring sites, many of which are often kept under wraps due to the nature of what is being monitored and the ramifications on the surrounding area. We are able to work with you and put suitable programs in place to ensure that the site is monitored discreetly at regular intervals in terms of what is deemed necessary and severity.
Volumes - Having members of staff who have specialised in volumes and site remediation has allowed MT Surveys to become a trusted name when it comes to this type of survey. We are able to carry out volume surveys on landfill, site redevelopment and cut and fill for construction.
Steel Works Survey – MT Surveys are often on site to provide critical dimensions to allow for the design of new steel structures or infill. The designs and steel fabrication could be for new mezzanine floors, strengthening, lift shafts, or prosed escalator routes to name but a few. Work is usually carried out either before or during the strip out process. It needs to be highly accurate, and we work with contractors to break out or remove areas to make exiting structures visible.
This can either be supplied in 2D, CAD format or as a 3D model which can be imported into Steel Design Software.
